Approach Signs was originally formed in 1997 and run by local Kapiti ownership. In 2001 Higgins Group Holdings Limited purchased Approach Signs and in 2008 Higgins invested in a new purpose built factory and administration building in Paraparaumu. In 2016, Higgins was purchased by Fletcher Building and has since invested in a new digital printer to expand the business print capacity.
